MY STORY

My name is Elly Cooke and I’m a country singer/songwriter who grew up on the outskirts of Gettysburg, PA.  I have loved music for as long as I can remember… Some of my earliest childhood memories are of me and my siblings  dancing and singing along to country music in our living room.

 

My Dad taught me how to play my first few chords on guitar when I was fourteen and ever since then I haven’t been able to put it down. I gained my first experiences performing at local talent shows when I was about sixteen and by seventeen I was already getting paid gig opportunities. All of the experience that I’ve gained from growing up in a musical family and performing at a young age has really helped to shape the musician that I am today.

I currently perform in states such as Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia. I have opened shows for some big named artists including Riley Green, Parker McCollum and Matt Stell. I also had the opportunity to sing with Keith Urban at the Giant Center on his Ripcord World Tour in front of about 9,000 people. My  debut album "Restless Heart" is available on all streaming platforms.

As I mentioned before, I have a deep love for music and I find so much joy and fulfillment through it. I consider songwriting to be my truest form of self-expression because my songs hold my deepest feelings and life experiences. If I had to describe my music in three words it would be heartfelt, catchy and honest.
